Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Oklahoma

Selling Property

Should a person wanting to sell 10 acres with a mobile home (very low value), electricity, water and cess pool and does not know property value; should he have it appraised or take the realitors word for the selling price? He knows what he wants out of the property, but the realitor keeps telling him he is way too high.

Re: Selling Property

This is not a legal question. If the realtor is your listing agent ask him/her for "comparables" to demonstrate what other similar properties with similar structures have sold for. If it is not your realtor and you are not needing to make a sale soon, then hold out for your asking price.
