I would like to know...under what circumstances can a tenant vacate a housing unit in the state of oregon, without a 30 written notice?

Vacating the premises if there is no lease, or rental agreement you can vacate with paying rent until you are vacated. Also if your in a roomate situation you must pay rent but do not have to give notice unless you specifically signed a roomate agreement stating otherwise. Same diffrence applies to leasing and renting look over your lease very carefully.
