Legal Question in Criminal Law in Oregon

warrants

I live in San Francisco, I have a warrant for drug possession from about 5 years ago in clackamas county, Oregon. Ive since turned my life around and wish to fix my past. The problem is that I go to a methadone clinic nearly everyday (they give me take-homes every other day) so getting up to Oregon is almost impossible. Im an english citizen with resident alien status, the problem is i lost my I.D. and to get a replacement Resident Alien card you need to have resolved all legal matters. SO...Im trying to find a way to take care of the warrant in Oregon while staying down in San Francisco, quickly and affordably. Im not rich, work a minimum wage job, but im wiling to do what it takes to get this taken care of. What are my options?

Re: warrants

There's no quick answer. You need to contact an Oregon criminal attorney to discuss this with. They (or you or both of you) will need to get before the judge in Oregon to recall the warrant and see what can be done about it.

You really can't do anything about another state's warrant from here. Start with an Oregon attorney. Be prepared.... this is going to cost you.
