Legal Question in Immigration Law in Oregon

My husband was convicted of 2 sex harrassment charges within 2 yrs of becoming a permanent resident from mexico.. We were advised to get one charge removed and it wouldnt affect immigration.(after he accepted plea offer). So we are getting one charge removed, but we already have the appointment with the immigration judge, is there any way to get the case with immigration dismissed?

An alien can be deported for one crime of moral turpitude committed within 5 years of admission to USA, and for which a sentence of 1 year or longer may be imposed (doesn't matter what was the actual sentence). Most sex offenses are usually considered crimes of moral turpitude.

You shall consult a knowledgeable immigration lawyer locally, as very likely you will need to hire legal representation for the Immigration Court removal (deportation) hearings.
