how do i get my legal status in here if iam illegal

hi, i am marry to a us citizen we have two kids and i will like to know what can we do to help me get my legal ciizenship

You have to be married for a couple of years to show legitimacy for your green card. Thereafter, you would need to qualify to take and pass an exam to become a US citizen.

It depends on how you entered U.S. If you entered with a valid visa but overstayed, then you may apply for permanent resident in the U.S.

If you entered U.S. without a valid visa, then it is more complicated and you have to go back to your home country to apply for a waiver.
