Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Oregon

I am trying to sue my lawyer for breach of contract. The case has nothing to do with services he did (actually didn't) perform, but with the fact he didn't fulfill his part of the contract. What is the statue of limitations on contract (singed in CA)? Do I need to go through mediator?

If it is a contract with an attorney in California, it almost certainly specifies the application of California law and enforcement in the courts of California. Thus, I suggest you repost your questions in the California section of this website.

My knowledge of California law is that the statute of limitations on breach of contract is 3 years. Whether you have to have mediation varies by county in California. Some have mandatory mediation and some do not. In mediation, no party is required to agree to anything.
