Re: gift immovable property

Here two things are noteworthy which you have also not mentioned with your question; this gift can be challenged in the court of law in these two cases.

1- According to Sharria (if you are muslim) no one can gift more than 1/3 of his property.

2- mental condition/physical dependancy of your father at the time of this act.

Please do let me know if you have any questions. I shall be happy to help.

Kind Regards

Re: gift immovable property

There are three essential conditions for the competition of a valid gift,

1. Proposal

2. Acceptance

3. Delivery of possession.

If all the above conditions are complete then not challengeable.

One thing more is ur father alive ?

What was his age and physical condition when he gifted the property ?

Total property gifted to u or some property remain of other legal heirs ?

Ur father gifted the property to other children after ur gift.?
