Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Pakistan

Scanned Signatures in Emails

Dear Sir (s),

Its is submitted to your honor to guide me on the risks involved in inserting my scanned signatures in email before may name.

The issue may be evaluated by viewing foollowing two options:

Option A: I compose email and insert scanned signature above my name in the text of body. There is risk involved for manipulation or misuse of my scanned signatures by the recipent or any body who gets it.

Option B: Suppose I send my mail to any recipient through land courier and sign manually against my name. These signatures can be scanned by recipient or any one else, who gets of it. So I think there is no security there too.

So It is quite evident that there is no security for non-manipulation of my signatures in both two options, narrated above.

How do you suggest for protection of these signatures in correspodence on internet and what is the legal stuff thereon.

With best regards

Re: Scanned Signatures in Emails

There is no such type of provision in law ,to provide protection from any offence before committing. One should take measures as much as posssible to save his /her signature.Inspite all these if someone re-scanned or copy the signature and misused it then we can sue against them in the court of law.
