Legal Question in Family Law in Pakistan

i have filed a case for khula almost 7 months before.my husband is not in Pakistan.he gave power of attorny to his father. they did nt appear in court till now. their lawyer submitted answer after a publication in news paper and now he is getting dates over dates to delay.

pre-trial has been failed. i have submitted my statment.and we wait for 3 hearings for cross questioning, but thier lawyer didnt come for this, after thiz judge gave another date,if the defendent may have any evidence to present, but thay did not respond.now its being more then 2 months. the case is still undecided.

i read about musharrf ammendments in 2002, according to which such cases should be decided in 4 to 6 months , is it so?

its seems that judge is deplaying with no reason. can you please guide me ? i will be grateful.

That means your case has reached the stage of evidence. There is not much of case remaining. The only key to success is that your lawyer should persue the case vigilantly. Usually the cases in which parties have disputes usually take some time to end up. The judge is bound to complete the process of trial before awarding you Khulla.
