I got khula against my husband . Now I'm going to get remarried with families consent this will be my 2nd marriage In that case is it mandatory to obtain a certificate from union council? As I have been told by a lawyer earlier on this website that I do Need a certificate but I didn't mention the first time that I'm getting remarried with families consent

You can fraudulently get married without informing any1 that you were previously married... However if you are willing to do a second marriage then you need certificate of talak for that and its not much difficult to get it.. Also u can not remarry the same husband without getting married to another man.. Do consult me more at [email protected]

If you have got a khula decree, you need not to obtain any certificate from any union counsel . Just only, you will have to mention, at right column in your next marriage papers, about your previous divorced status.
