Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Pennsylvania

How can I save my house?

I signed over my ''paid-off'' house to my son about 3 years ago because i was afraid the state would take it if i went into a nursing home. Now my son has been injured and can no longer work. He is considering bankruptcy but i am being told that they will take my house (or technically his house) because of the bankruptcy. Is this true? and if so can he just sign the house back over to me before filing bankruptcy? Your help is greatly appreciated!

There may be a number of solutions to your problem, but you need to speak with a lawyer. If your son were to sign over the house and then declare bankruptcy it could be treated as fraud. I offer free consultations. My contact information is in my profile.
