Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Pennsylvania

workplace/commercial violation of rights to privacy.

Ive worked for the state for 17 years, I recieved personal mail, addressed to me at my work place, where I later found out was taken before I recieved it and read by my boss, and they made photo copies of it and then placed it back in my mail box sealed and I never knew it till later. They used the letter to investigate me without me knowing a thing about it, the other violation is they asked a certain big name hotel I stayed at for all my personal info such as: name, address, phone number, credit card info, etc... and without any legal warrants or anything! the hotel gave them my private info, even my check in and check out times... I called them and asked them about there customer privacy policy and they stated that they did have one... so I started to do some checking myself. I am currently suspended without pay and I feel that I am being harrassed and there is alot more form witnesses to other employees experiancing similar problems. but I am concerned about my civil rights and u.s mail policies, isnt it a felony to tamper with someones mail? I need help!
