Creditor Taking Me To Court

I was served last week stating i was being sued. It says i have to respond in writing in person. But not sure how to respond? Also, someone told me since the papers i got served did not include a copy of the 'assignment of debt', that i can mention that when i answer and it will delay the lawsuit. Can anyone help with this? Thanks!

You should hire an attorney as soon as possible to file an Answer to the suit. If you can't afford an attorney contact Neighborhood Legal Services or your County Bar Association to help you.
