personal loan

I loaned a friend of mine back in 2004 , $3000, has not seen a dime as of this date. He is part ower in a automotive repair business, can I go or sue the repair business? I live in pennsylvania.

If he owns the repair business as a sole proprietor you don't need to sue the business. If he incorporated the business then, unless this was a loan to the corporation, the corporation wouldn't be responsible for his personal debts unless you can pierce the corporate veil. For $3,000, though, you're probably better off just suing him either way.
