Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania

reposession of a grave stone

We bought an angel for our sons grave from a local dealer. We gave him more than 50% up front. He said 6 to 8 weeks to install. After much complaining he did so some 5 months later. We owed him under 150.00 balance. With out notice he removed the angel, called the church and told them why. We called the police to report vandalism. The rectory informed us of what had happened the next day. We are suffering greatly. He will not refund the money and will not return the angel even if we pay (we can) he wants a reinstallation fee and may not ''get around to it until spring. Help advice my wife is destroyed, I am devistated.

Re: reposession of a grave stone

This sounds like a terrible experience. I can charge a minimal fee to investigate and send a Demand Letter to this guy, and try to resolve this without filing suit.
