What is the statute of limitations that one can be sued for a defaulted payday loan in the state of PA?

4 years commencing as of the last payment you made. However, the payday loan may or may not be legal. If the payday lender is licensed in PA then they can sue. If they are not, then what they are doing is illegal and they cannot. Contact the PA Banking Department:
