Re: unpaid debt

Generally speaking, no. Even if your property is held with your husband as a Tenant by the Entireties, creditors cannot execute upon it in Pennsylvania. If a creditor does attempt to execute, though, you need to file a claim for the jointly held property with the Sheriff's Office or the Magisterial District Judge if served by a Constable.

Re: unpaid debt

The prior advice you received is correct. Creditors cannot attach assets in your name only or jointly with your spouse in PA, to pay a judgment against your husband. However, if a creditor attempts to sell your assets or joint assets, you must file the appropriate documents to prevent the sale. IF YOU DO NOTHING THEY WILL BE SOLD.
