Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

I had an arrest in 1986, was placed in ARD and told my record would be expunged after a year. In Pennsylvania criminal background checks, the arrest does not show up, but in FBI checks, it still does. How do I get it removed?

You need to file a Petition for Expungement. After you get an official ORDER signed by a Judge, you then need to send a certified copy of that order to all the criminal justice agencies that have record of the arrest, including the FBI. You should hire an attorney to have it done properly. Feel free to contact me. I specialize in criminal defense in Montgomery County, PA.
