if you gave a statement to us district attoney and fbi pertaining to a case that is going to be appealed for larger sentence and you call or email back saying the statements were inaccurate can you get in trouble

Lying to the FBI is a Crime. It is what got Martha Stewart sent to jail. It is a serious offense. You should immediately seek an attorney. I offer free initial consultations.
