Legal Question in DUI Law in Pennsylvania

ignition interlock

2nd DUI in PA. Drivers License suspended for 18 months. Completed probations, fines, etc. Rec'd eligibility for ignition interlock. My question is, can I forfeit my DL for another year instead of installing the interlock on my car and then apply for the reinstatement of my license? Very confused with PA laws. Thanks

Re: ignition interlock

I believe the answer to this is yes. You are only eligible for ignition interlock and if you don't apply for it your suspension continues to run.
