What age can a minor child decide who they want to live with

My ex husband has full legal custody of my 15 year old daughter she wants to live with me my question is she of age to decide who to live with if I just keep her can the police return her to her father if she expresses to them that she wants to stay with me.

If not she is close. If that is indeed her desire you will need to file a petition to modify custody.
