Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Have a Case?

My wife and I of 24 years, no longer share a bed or have had sex in about 5 years. She constantly complains about things, nags and talks to her self outloud. We argue about things and she constantly talks when i talk. I would like to know on what grounds I can use and what might happen with the divorce, i.e. alimony, child support (son of 16), and would i have to pay to send her to her choice of destination.

Re: Have a Case?

You could get a divorce by consent. As for fault grounds Indignities seems the one to go with.

Child support depends on the custody arrangements. Child support lasts till the child is 18 or graduates from high school. If you will have to pay child support depends on which parent the child lives with. If he lives with you your wife might owe child support to you. If the child lives with her you'd have to pay. If the child lives with both parties on an equal basis then its a wash.

Your wife would be entitled to equitable distribution.

No you wouldn't have to pay to send her anywhere.

Re: Have a Case?

In PA you can get a divroce if you have been separated even if ou live in the same house for 2 years.

Don't know if your relationship qualifies.

Good luck to you.
