Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Divorce

I made the mistake of signing my divorce papers and not making a copy of all the papers before mailing them in. my ex-husband is a jerk and will not speak to me. the divorce was done without a lawyer for my self because it was not needed. Our divorce was uncontested and we were only married for 6 months. How do I know where to get a copy of my decree his attorney will not give me any information. the papers I have say Potter County but that is all and I cannot find their info anywhere. Can someone please help!!!!!

Re: Divorce

Contact the Porter County Court of Common Pleas ask for the prothonotary. Tell them who you are. There is usually a fee associated with getting copies of decrees, ask them how much and whether or not you can do by mail.
