Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

My estranged husband lives in my home and pays me $350.00 towards my $600.00 a month mortgage. Is this considered income to me even though I'm paying the $250.00 to make up the difference. I do not live in the home. He's taking me to Domestic court because he claims this is income. Please help.

If its not rental income, then what is it? Why don't you think its income?

Its either rental income or else he gets to live in the home rent free and pays you support/alimony.

Why does you paying 1/2 of the mortgage not make it income? Who actually writes a check to the lender? You?

Why is the husband taking you to court? For what?

Nobody can help you here and you post no details. I suggest that you at least pay to consult with a family law attorney who practices in the county where the action is pending. I suggest that you make a copy of the court file and let the attorney review to see how best to help you.
