Joint physical custody

my husbands's ex-wife is threatening to move over 2 hours away with their 4 boys( that they have joint physical custody of) b/c she say's she can't afford her house in chester county, can't work w/ her soon to be ex-lover (whom is still married) and want's to be closer to her family. She and the children have not lived near her family in the 12 years she's had them. Does my husband have any rights to keep her / children here w/o spending $$$$$ when is should e black and white???

There are legal documents he can file with the court to have her return the children to the area, if she relocates without court permission. He can try to do on his own, but it is more difficult in Chester County and there are certain forms and procedures to follow. If her move makes the current custody arrangement impossible, we could also file for contempt and request an order for attorneys fees. I practice in Chester County and have a location in Exton or King of Prussia.
