Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

My mother has been asked for a divorce by her husband and he has set up an appointment already with an attorney for himself. He said she could go to this appointment, but the attorney can't answer any questions as he has retained this attorney as counsel. Should she have an attorney present at this meeting as well?

Depends, why go at all? Without a lawyer she'll be at their mercy especially if they want to start talking property settlement. She should find her own lawyer and get some advice before any settlement meetings.

You only get one shot to do this right don't rush to meet their timetable or agenda.

If you have any questions feel free to contact me. The initial consultation is free,
