Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Paternity

I am pregnant with my first child. The biological father is not involved. I plan to put my fiances name on the birth certificate. If at some point the biological father would change his mind and want his rights, would the childs birth certificate change or would he just be granted paternal rights? Also, my fiance is in the military, would the benefits our child will recieve be revoked if the biological father fights for paternity?

Re: Paternity

If everyone is in agreement at this point, why not just get the marriage done and have your fiancee go through with a step-parent adoption. After a certain period of time, after receiving adequate notice, the ex's rights would be terminated and your child would be legally your fiance's child and therefore entitled to all of the benefits thereof.

Let me know if I can be of any assistance.
