Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Do I have any rights???

My wife cheated and left me over a year ago to live with her boyfriend. I filed for divorce and signed the papers, but she won't sign until property settlement is completed. However, her boyfriend broke up with her this week and she attempted suicide. Now the hospital says I am totally responsible for her medical bills and they will only release her after treatment to MY custody. I want nothing to do with her. Hospital's attorney say's I am legally bound to take care of her. Is this TRUE??? I feel bad for her but am in love with a wonderful woman and planning to marry as soon as my divorce is final. This will ruin my future happiness.

Re: Do I have any rights???

You asked about a messy medical medical.

Nobody is right and nobody is wrong.

You need to seek immediate legal counsel to extricate you from this situation.

The hospital's attorney doesn't represent your interests and is only interested in getting a resolution that favors his client. Do not take his advice as accurate.

Regards,

Roger
