Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Separation/divorce

I am separating from my husband and moving to a new location. I have a small child. When I decided to leave, he told me I could live in the house and when I said I couldn't afford to live there, he told me he would pay for us to live there. I declined his offer because I need a fresh start. both of our names are on the mortgage but since I am the one leaving, am I entitled to any money if the divorce proceeds and we sell the house? Please advise

Re: Separation/divorce

Your name on the mortgage isn't relevant. What is was the house bought while you were married. If it was it is part of the marital estate and subject to equitable distribution.
