Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

My sister passed away a few weeks ago suddenly, she has 2 little girls 7 and 8 the father is still alive and wants full custody of the girls he just got out of prison he has a history of domestic violence and drug sales he has a job, but lives with his Aunt I work in the medical field own my own home and have a room for the children to live and be provided for with lots of love I have my own children and grand children please tell me what chance do I have in be awarded full custody of these children we live in Phila,PA thank you!!!
