Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

unmarried mothers rights

I am not married but have lived with my boyfriend for 9 yrs, we have a 2 1/2 yr old daughter. My boyfriend shoved me around lastnight and forced me out of the house and would not allow me to take my daughter with me. I told him I would be back for her today and he said they would not be there. How do I get her back?

Either locate an attorney in your county to assist you, if you cannot locate an attorney go to the police station and file a report of the incident which caused you to leave your home and go the court house and ask the procedure to get protection from domestic violence and to protect your daughter.
