Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

My wife and I are on the verge of getting seperated and a possible divorce. There are two children involved. Am I legally able to get a new bank account and change my direct deposit? Also when she does decide to leave; I am not going to be able to afford the house that's in my name and the car that's in my name, due to the fact I will be paying approximately $1200 in child support a month, so on this one do I just let them both get repossed or file for bankruptcy?

You need to speak with an attorney to determine how best to proceed. There are plenty of traps for the unwary and proper counsel can help guide you through the minefields of consumer law and possibly bankruptcy.

Just letting the items get repossessed is probably not the best course of action because that would leave you liable for potentially large deficiencies between the amount that the assets are sold for and what is owed.

Contact me at your earliest convenience and we can discuss the the best course of action.
