Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania

Answer to complaint unverified

I am suing pro se.

The defendant's attorney filed the answer, which contained errors, and was not verified by defendant. Now defendant has new lawyer who wants to refile answer (stating prior ''miscommunication''). Do I have any options? Does old attorney get off scot-free?

You're going to be dealing with questions of civil procedure. The obvious one can they file an amended answer. Because they filed an answer they may have to ask the court permission to file an amended answer. It will depend on a number of factors whether the court will allow them to do that. One factor is when was the original answer due.
