Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania

I am one of four defendents in a civil law suit. we are defending ourselves pro-se. We have been submitting all of our paperwork,-- Enlargement of time, motions, petitions, answer to new matter & objections with only one of us signing ( name et al ) with the written permission of the other three defendents. There are four of us (same family) and only one is available to do the research, composing and filing of all the legal documentation. I am the spoke person for the other three. Since I am signing (et al) is this viewed by the courts as all of us signing or only one?

Well you're engaged in the unlicensed practice of law. You are OK representing yourself but the second you try to do the same for another you are breaking the law. Further even if you were a licensed PA attorney you might not be able to represent the other parties due to a conflict of interest.

If none of the 4 of your can afford an attorney why is anyone bothering to sue you? Clearly they think one or more of you has something worth having. Does the other side have an attorney? If the do and you don't then that the equivalent of fighting a conventional war against the US Army. A great way to be beaten and beaten decisively.
