Re: i need help

You asked about recovering money wrongfully taken.

You've already beaten yourself up so I won't do it again.

The person actually committed both a crime and a tort. The crime is theft where she converted money she held as a fiduciary for you. Even without a contract she should be held to this standard. You'll need to prove that you received the money (such as documents from the attorney that settled the estate), that she held the money (she deposited it to her account, or bought items with the approximate value) and then you would need witnesses that could corroborate your story.

You will need to bring this matter to your local detectives and also to a private attorney.

Regards,

Roger
