You have to read the judge's order to determine if all your claims were dismissed or just a portion of your claims. You can also call the court clerk and ask if she or he can explain the cases disposition.

Good luck.

Summary judgment means that the court believed that there was insufficient evience to support a claim and thereby dismissed that claim. As the above post mentions, if there were multiple claims, you will have to check the order to see if all claims were dismissed or whether summary judgment was only granted on one or a few but not all of the claims. If you have an attorney, I would suggest that you check with them. Also, if all claims were not dismissed, most counties do not automaticalloy move a case ahead. Once the plaintiff completes discovery and is ready for trial, something would need filed with the prothonotary certifying that the case is ready to be heard.

As the post above mentioned, if you do not have an attorney, you may want to call the prothonotary's office for the county that you filed in.
