Legal Question in Health Care Law in Pennsylvania

Medical Bill

My local hospital accidentally sent a my medical bill for tests to my new employer instead of me. Would it be improper to ask that they waive all or part of my bill to compensate me? It was a bit awkward for both me and my boss since I've only been working for him less than a month! Thank heavens the reason for the tests was not spelled out on the bill because it was rather personal.

Re: Medical Bill

You could ask but there is nothing that says that they have to agree. If you wish to look into this further google HIPAA.
