Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Pennsylvania

My current lease expires at the end of the month. I initially told my landlord I will sign a new lease however, I have changed my mind and plan on vacating. The old lease required me to give a 30 notice of intent to vacate. Since I will not be bound by a new lease am I still legally required to give notice to vacate? What are my rights?

Beware of the automatic renewal clause in your lease. Most leases have them especially if your renting in an apartment complex.
