Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Pennsylvania

Landlord is going back on word regarding pets. Lease states that a seperate written notice must be provided regarding pets. He had said he would agree to such notice, but changed mind after I asked for smoke detectors in my apartment. Two names are listed on the lease. Person one has signed it, but her name is spelled wrong throughout the document and person two has not yet signed it.

Is there grounds for termination of the lease without penalty to the tenants? Person one has only lived in the apartment for three weeks and person two only one week.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

For starters smoke detectors are not an optional accessory. I do believe the have to be installed in apartments. I would check with the town hall in your town.
