Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Pennsylvania
I was wondering how long a landlord in PA has to either return your security deposit or give you a reason why the full amount will not be returned? And if it has pass that point is the full amount returned?

30 days from the time you return the keys and provide a new address. If neither the security deposit nor a list of claimed damages (returning the remainder of the security deposit) is received within 30 days, you may file suit at the magistrate for double of the amount of the security deposit.
