what do i do to get a judge to reopen a case that has passed the 2 year statute

If there is an attorney involved you need to speak to them immediately to understand your options.

If there was no attorney involved, you need to find one ASAP.

This is a tough issue, which a may not have a favorable answer.

Be prepared to speak to many attorneys to find one who will take your case under what is probably a difficult, if not impossible position.

You should be prepared to explain briefly why you have a compelling case and why you believe that you may be entitled to reopen it after the statute of limitations has passed.
