Legal Question in Personal Injury in Pennsylvania

Now what?
I settled a claim against the commonwealth of pennsylvania for a motor vehicle accident back in july 2008. I've already returned the settlement release form. I know they need to get a couple signatures but how long does it usually take to receive your settlement check from the COMMONWEATH OF PENNSYLVANIA once you've settled? Personal Injury case, person was self insured through C. of P.

I would suggest you contact your attorneys. They should be able to give you an idea when to expect the settlement check. It is only 8/9/08.

In general, settlements with municipalities/ gov't organizations take up to 90 days to process.
