Legal Question in Personal Injury in Pennsylvania

slander

My husband and I seperated in April of 2000, after my husband slapped our epileptic son and I gave my husband a beating for that. When I said I was filing for a divorce, my husband said to me he would ruin me so no one would ever want me again. He made claims that I left him for a woman and had turned lesbian. He made these claims all over the county where we live causing many friends to question me. He has made these claims to friends and family alike,it has not only caused pain for me but for my children as well. He continues to say these things even though we are not yet divorced. My reputation has been scarred by his claims as well as friendships and also my childrens friendships. Is it possible to fight this matter in any way or is there nothing I can do about it?
