My daughter broke her tooth on a piece of metal in a steak she bought from a grocery store.Does she have any options?

Dear Sir/Ma'am:

You could very well have a claim for products liability, that is, the product (meat) was defective (metal) when your daughter ate the food.

Did you save the piece of metal?
