Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

Renter Behavior

Am I in any way, as a landlord, responsible for the

behavior of a tenant? Particulary of interest to me

is if the tenant is involved in criminal activity.

The tenant has been arrested, but remains in the

house.

Re: Renter Behavior

There is a duty imposed to you as a landlord, if you know the tennant is acting in a criminal matter that could affect your other tenants you may have some liability to the other tennants if somehting happens to them due to the activities of said tenant.

If it is reasonable to assume the knowledge you possess is accurate I would look at possible eviction action to limit your risk.
