Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

Trees in new subdivision

We purchased a lot in a new subdivision. All of the houses have been completed and the residents have all occupied their home for over 18 months. Most residents have installed lawn irregation sprinklers, sod and landscaping. The developer has not yet finished the developmentand , and want to install trees on the lots which were recorded on the final subdivision plan. These tree are all inside the property boundries and not in the right of way. Does the developer have the right to install these trees. The residents do not want these trees. The township is demanding that they be planted. Does the township have the right to demand that these trees be planted against the residents wishes? Is there any way to stop them from coming on our property?Who is responsible for any damage done to our property?

Re: Trees in new subdivision

it is difficult to give a response to the question with out seeing plan documents. If the devlopment was approved with the requirement of trees by the township then it would appear the developer would have to comply. You should consult with an attorney who could review the entire situation
