administrator fees

does the administrator of an estate receive a fee from the estate before distributing the assets. i have a short certificate. no will

the administrator should get any particular fee approved either by way of an accounting approved by the Court or by a family settlement agreement on a release receipt basis before disbursing any fee. If you have not obtained legal counsel yet it is highly suggested you schedule an appointment with an attorney.
