Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Pennsylvania

Executor responsibilities
My Mom died in May of 2006. She lived in PA and owned a condo there. The will she had left, named the lawyer who drew it up as executor.The lawyer took it upon herself to make decisions when selling the condo,without consulting with my sister and me who are the only people named in the will.Since both my sister and I live far from PA we had to trust her with different things of course, but we know we would not have made some of the choices she made if she included us in the decisions she made, costing us alot of money.It has always been like pulling teeth to communicate with her also. We still have not recieved any of the monies from the estate after almost 21/2 years.What are our rights in this situation?
