Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Pennsylvania

pre-decease

I have been diagnosed with terminal cancer. I am due to recieve 1/4 of my fathers estate when he passes away. If I were to pre-decease my father is there a way I can direct that this 1/4 will be left to my estate or some trust upon my father's death so it will then be directed where I want it to go? I am unmarried and have no children. I want to leave the 1/4 due me from my father to the 2 children (over 18 yrs old) of a friend. Thank you for your help.

Re: pre-decease

It all depends upon the terms of your fathers will. Normally if you pre-decease your father any bequest to you would no long exist at the time of your fathers death.
