Legal Question in Workers Comp in Pennsylvania
back injury
been on comp for allmost a year.Have had no problem getting paid.But the last time i talked to the guy handeling my claim he mentioned something about a pay out.What is he talking about.

He's talking about a compromise and release or C&R. They used to be called "commutations" but the insurance companies now insist on C&Rs because they've put in a standard provision stating that they are not responsible for medical payments after paying the amount of the settlement.
